Cycling Adventure Trips
A variety of cycling adventure trips are offered by UNL Outdoor Adventures throughout the year. Daily, overnight, weekend and weeklong bike tours are offered locally and throughout the US. Local Group Rides
Looking to explore Lincoln's trail system? Interested in gaining the confidence to commute by bicycle. Need a fun break from classes? Checkout UNL Outdoor Adventure's Day Ride Series schedule. Bike rentals are available for all group rides. Outdoor Adventures also specializes in contracting group rides tailored for your group. For more information call 402.472.4777.
Cycling Academic Classes
Did you know you can earn credit while learning more about bicycle touring, bicycle commuting and basic bike maintenance? Register for these classes and other recreational activity courses on MyRed. The Course Subject for these courses is Rec-Outdoor Education.

Great Plains Bicycle Club (GPBC)
The Great Plains Bicycling Club is Lincoln, Nebraska’s recreational bicycling club. They organize rides in and around Lincoln, promote cycling and bicycle safety, publish a newsletter, and much more. All recreational riders are welcome to join on their rides and other activities.
UNL Cycling Club and Team
Organized by students, the UNL Cycling Club holds club activities and is the resident bicycle racing team for UNL.
Nebraska NICA
The Nebraska Interscholastic Cycling League was founded in 2019 as a non-profit (501(c)3) Emergent League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). We facilitate the development of high school and middle school teams/clubs for grades 6-12 and provide the education, training, licensing, and insurance for coaches and volunteers. We also produce high-quality mountain bike events and races that emphasize the value of participation, camaraderie, positive sporting behavior and well-being over competition.
Nebraska Sandhills Randonneurs
The Nebraska Sandhills Randonneurs host ACP and RUSA sanctioned long-distance bicycle rides in and around the Sandhills region of our vast midwestern plains state.
